We’re incredibly proud to share that Neil Bradley has been shortlisted for the Heroes Awards after his courageous actions helped save a life on the A45 in Northampton.
During a routine inspection at the Queen Eleanor Interchange, Neil spotted a member of the public in a dangerous situation. Realising something was wrong, he acted without hesitation.
Together with colleagues, he helped keep the individual safe for 45 minutes until emergency services arrived.
Neil and his colleagues have since received a letter of commendation from Northamptonshire Police, recognising how they went “above and beyond” during the incident.
When asked why he stepped in, Neil said “Why not?” That humility says a lot about Neil. His quick thinking and willingness to act helped prevent what could have been a tragedy.
The shortlisted nominees will come together at the Heroes Awards Gala Dinner, taking place on Monday 30 November 2026 at the London Hilton on Park Lane, where the winners will be announced.
