Waterman Aspen becomes a SafeRec Plus Agency

Waterman Aspen is now a SafeRec Plus Agency, giving clients and contractors added reassurance and transparency when an umbrella company arrangement is needed. We use SafeRec Plus to support the ongoing monitoring and management of these engagements.

How does this fit with the Waterman Aspen model?

Most of our specialists are salaried, permanent Waterman Aspen colleagues. They are seconded into client teams but remain on our payroll, which means we take care of the employment administration. 

Occasionally, a project may need a different approach, so we can also support contractors working through either a limited company or an umbrella company. 

For limited company engagements, our in-house IR35 specialists step in. We provide clients with clear guidance, agree the scope and carry out the necessary checks and reviews, helping you meet your HMRC obligations.
