Experience required…
You will have a strong background in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Transport Modelling, Highway Development Management or Highway Development Control with experience in some of the following areas:
- Public and Private Sector experience.
- ARCADY, PICADY, JUNCTIONS, LinSig
- Use of or appreciation of TRICS, TEMPRO, AutoCAD, KeyLINES, KeySIGN, AutoTRACK
- Use of or appreciation of advanced modelling software including SATURN, PTV Vissim, PTV Visum, PC-MOVA, Paramics, Aimsun
- Experience in the preparation of, or the review of, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements, Transport Chapters of Environmental Statements / Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Experience within a Highways Development Control or Highways Development Management teams commenting on, and assessing, Planning Applications from a Highway Authority perspective
- Travel Plan Co-Ordinator role
- Preliminary design and assessment of highways improvement schemes associated with development
- A full UK Driving License is essential
